Midwest Prepares for Winter Storm

Already in my area - schools and businesses are cancelling activities for tomorrow based on the weather forecast. We are expecting a large amount of snow, up to 12 inches with some 30-40 mph winds. This will make getting around in the countryside a nightmare. One thing that has changed in the last 20 years is the amount of persons who live in small towns and the countryside who are commuting longer distances to work. This means it is even more important for local governments in keeping the roads cleared and keep the economy moving along.
