University of Illinois Agronomy Day is Coming

The 52nd annual University of Illinois Agronomy Day is Thursday August 21 at the University of Illinois South Farms. This year the theme is "Energizing Agriculture". There will be tours focused on some of the latest research that is happening on the UI campus. The event tours start at 7am and runs till noon. The Center for Advanced BioEnergy Research is leading this years efforts.

At noon there will be two features speakers; United States Dept. of Agriculture Undersecretary Gale Buchanan and Seth Snyder from Argonne National Laboratory who will talk about bioenergy.

Be sure to come by if you are in the Urbana, Illinois area.
